PaulsLibraryLandscape Fund

Three days before he passed away Paul stood with me on the library grounds discussing landscape possibilities for the site. As the gracious asset to our county which the library is, there was inadequate funding for finishing the site with planting and amenities, indeed in conscious agreement the architectural plans note, “landscaping by others” Now with Paul’s sad absence we who remain are “the others.”

Possibilities abound, shade trees, reading benches, connecting walkways, gardens, and curbing. All limited by money available, but it would not take excessive expenditure to improve the site in Paul's name. After all he was instrumental in bringing the library to Parksley, and its landscaping will certainly contribute to the town's ambience.

Please consider a donation to honor Paul's civic commitment through the library's additional landscaping. Your return will be updated through the website and touring the town experience. Donation online can be made by going to:

or by check written to PaulsLibraryLandscape and forwarded to designated associates.
